“krakatoa” is being mastered on fri. jan. 25. it could have been done sooner but we wanted to go hang out while it was being mastered and see what kind of wizardry will be done.

i decided to take a two-week break from the album prior to the mastering session. i deleted it off my ipod so that i wouldn’t give in to temptation and listen to it. i want to have fresh perceptions when we work on it. a tabula rasa, if you will.

the other thing we’re waiting on is album art. we don’t have any. a guy is working on a painting but we haven’t seen any evidence of it or really heard any ideas or concepts or anything. oh well.

so if anyone is artistically inclined and is inspired by the concept of krakatoa or volcanos or how great the fake fictions are, feel free to get in touch-ouch-uch-ch.
